Compliance Officer Asset Management

We are looking for a Compliance Officer (medior level) who will play a pivotal role in further developing, implementing and coordinating our Control Framework—ensuring compliance is integrated from the start of every process to the final outcome.
The role
In this role, you will strengthen and further structure the control frameworks and related processes within the Compliance department, improving efficiency and effectiveness. You will work on change initiatives that will change the way we work. You will work closely with the colleagues in the team and colleagues across the organization.

What you would do
- Further develop and maintain the regulatory framework and control framework.
- Define process improvements and implement those whenever necessary.
- Support further development of regulatory change implementation processes.
- Support investigation, design and implementation of automated solutions.
- Work on change initiatives for Compliance Asset Management and CFRO Asset Management.
- Prepare and deliver compliance awareness sessions and training to increase understanding of the control framework.
What you bring
- HBO or academic degree in law, economics, or related areas; recognized compliance accreditation is desirable.
- At least 5 years of working experience in Financial Services, preferably within Asset Management and in a Compliance or other 2nd line role.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English (both verbally and in writing).
- Strong analytical skills; able to translate theory into practice and prepare solution proposals considering all necessary angles.
- Proactive, structured, accurate and result-driven with excellent time management.
- You are flexible and willing to go the extra mile with a can-do mentality.
- Ability to identify and define process improvements and independently implement those.
- You have a change mindset and are willing to further broaden your horizon reg. second line compliance and risk management.
Key Competencies
- Regulatory expertise: strong understanding of relevant financial regulations (for example MiFID II, AIFMD, SFDR).
- Risk awareness: ability to identify compliance risks early and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Analytical thinking: skilled in analyzing complex processes and assessing control measures.
- Process orientation & problem-solving: structured approach to improving workflows and embedding compliance in end-to-end processes, affinity with process automation.
- Adaptability & collaboration: enjoy working in a dynamic environment and contributing to a strong risk and compliance culture.
What we offer you
We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 5931 - 8473 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
