Job description
In this temporary position you are part of the Fiduciary Management (FM) department. You work on client assignments to help optimize the liquidity and treasury structure of our pension fund clients. The position is from January until December 2025. You will be based in Amsterdam at our office at Sloterdijk/Edge West.
The client portfolio manager monitors and analyses investment portfolio developments and consults colleagues - to ultimately help our clients decide on their investment structure. Furthermore, the role includes responsibility to deliver on client assignments that relate to the:
- Treasury and liquidity setup of pension fund clients in the upcoming new pension (WTP) contract environment.
- Development of securities lending policies.
- Further integration of clients’ responsible investment requirements in their liquidity and treasury management.
Job profile and requirements
You are a result-oriented team player with analytical and advisory skills as well as extensive investment management experience. You have high standards for the quality of your work, and you are able to be lead multidisciplinary project teams within APG.
Furthermore, we ask for:
- 10+ years relevant experience in the field of expertise such as: liquidity & treasury management, cash & collateral management, repo & securities lending and/or derivatives use and central clearing;
- Knowledge of the integration of responsible investment management requirements in abovementioned fields is an advantage;
- 10+ years relevant experience within institutional investment management, such as a fiduciary role, client portfolio- or mandate management role; experience in a pension fund or insurance setting is an advantage;
- Academic degree in finance or investment management, a CFA charter or equivalent;
- Good communication skills. Articulate in English and Dutch in writing and presenting;
- Capable of building and structuring a consistent motivation and the ability to make your case.
