The role
We are looking for a senior risk manager for our Strategic Risk Management & Risk Governance team in Risk Services in CFRO AM.
You, together with the team, drive and execute the activities of the second line in regards to the strategic transition to fully support realizing its strategic goals. You do so by contributing to the success of projects and the necessary change/transition by means of sound project risk management and oversight. This also includes strategic risk management activities such as, amongst others, early insights into emerging risks, strategic risk analysis and assessments. The team serves as the linking pin for our business when it comes to change related questions and project risk management from a second line perspective. Furthermore, the team maintains the Risk Management Framework and the planning thereof.
This position is based in Amsterdam.
What you would do
- Provide project risk management for AM projects, incl. oversight of Strategy 2030.
- Perform strategic risk mgmt. activities, incl. emerging risks to ensure more proactivity reg. risk management of strategic risks.
- Maintaining the Risk Management Framework APG AM, incl. contributing to the policy process for second line policies and planning thereof.
- Provide (complex) advice and countervailing power on project risk management to organization wide projects. This includes diverse stakeholders such as senior management including MB AM, clients.
What you bring
- (Post) Academic (WO) working and thinking level with an academic degree in relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in (non-financial) risk management, including project risk management, strategic risk management and experience with risk frameworks and governance. Proven track record in change and transformation. related role, project risk management, strategic risk management needed
- Good knowledge of developments, processes and methodology in this area.
- Digital skills/affinity are a strong plus.
- Demonstrable experience in teamwork, collaboration, and motivating.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including ability to deal with resistance.
- Excellent communication (Dutch/English, written as well as verbally) including persuasiveness and listening skills as well as target group specific communication.
- Strong change mindset, connecting, pioneering change. High degree of proactivity with can-do mentality.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and conflict management skills.
