These include platforms such as Qlik, Alteryx, Posit, Databricks, SQL Server, and related data and integration solutions.

The team operates in an Agile/DevOps setting and is responsible for management, support, lifecycle management, and further development of these platforms. In doing so, we make a direct contribution to data-driven working within Asset Management. The environment is technically broad, dynamic, and continuously evolving, including a transition towards Azure and AI applications.

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer Self Service & Data Science, you will be part of an experienced DevOps team. You will work on the continuity, quality, and continuous improvement of our self-service platforms. You will combine operational support with analysis, problem-solving, technical development, and stakeholder communication.

You take ownership, proactively identify bottlenecks, and help users derive value from our platforms in a secure and efficient way. You will be the first point of contact for stakeholders regarding operational questions. You are not expected to know everything, but you are motivated and able to quickly learn new technologies.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will be involved in:

  • Analyzing, resolving, and following up on incidents, service requests, and user questions

  • Supporting users in optimizing their use of self-service analytics and data science tools
  • Actively contributing to management, monitoring, lifecycle management, and quality improvement of platforms
  • Testing and validating changes, releases, and new platform functionalities
  • Identifying structural improvement opportunities and translating them into backlog items or improvement actions
  • Documenting procedures, work instructions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the team, other DevOps teams, architecture, security, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Contributing to Agile team rituals such as stand-ups, refinements, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Contributing ideas to further professionalize operations processes, including incident management, knowledge retention, and standardization

What You Bring

We are looking for a colleague who is technically curious, takes ownership, and wants to keep developing in a broad DevOps environment. You recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Proactive and takes ownership of tasks, incidents, and improvements
  • Eager to learn and motivated to develop within DevOps, data science tooling, and platform management
  • Strong analytical skills and proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Able to switch effectively between user questions, technical analysis, and structural improvements
  • Enjoys working in an Agile team and actively contributes to team results
  • Proficient in Dutch and English for effective communication with users, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking

Experience with one or more of the following technologies is desired. You do not need to know everything yet, but you are willing to learn:

  • Qlik Sense
  • Alteryx
  • Posit, Python, and/or R
  • Databricks
  • SQL Server, MongoDB, or other databases
  • Linux and Windows Server
  • Azure, Azure DevOps, and Git
  • Identity & Access Management, Active Directory, or Entra ID
  • Monitoring, logging, and incident management
  • Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools
  • CI/CD, scripting, or automation
  • Security, compliance, and lifecycle management within IT platforms

What We Offer

Depending on your relevant knowledge and experience, we offer a gross monthly salary between €4,772 and €6,674 (based on full-time employment), along with attractive employment conditions focused on flexibility:
