The role

Are you our keen Data Architect with a passion for conceptualizing and implementing new solutions that provide real added value? Do you want to execute the entire trajectory from idea to workable product using the latest techniques? Are you able to develop concepts into new architectures in an environment characterized by both new and innovative, as well as solid and robust? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for within COO!

For our brand-new Data Office department, we are looking for a Data Architect to join our Data Governance & Architecture team. You will actively contribute to the definition and implementation of future-proof and best practice data architecture designs and principles. As a data architect, you aim to realize, manage, and maintain an integrated end-to-end data value chain, that delivers data timely, stably, and continuously, from the framework(s) of data architecture. You ensure full alignment between data architecture and enterprise architecture.

 

What you would do

  • You are responsible as a Data Architect for designing, creating, realizing, and managing future-proof and best practice data architecture frameworks & solutions.
  • You establish and enforce data management standards, ensuring data accuracy, correctness, privacy, security and compliancy.
  • You monitor the responsible use of data, actively steering on data quality, integrity and security.
  • You keep track of the end-to-end data value chain in support of the collegiate data & technology teams, safeguarding the overall end-to-end perspective and thereby enabling trusted data accessibility for the various departments of APG.
  • You stay up to date with the latest data architecture trends and knowledge, analyzing and internalizing in- and external subject developments.
  • You work with high impact technologies and can translate technologies and market developments into architectural or design improvement and innovation proposals through methodical analyses. You can embed architectural designs in Cloud environments.
  • You are capable of coaching others and raising them to a higher level. You are also highly communicative and have experience with stakeholder management at different levels.

 

What you bring

  • University working and thinking level with at least a completed higher professional education in Computer Science (software engineering) or equivalent;
  • You have demonstrable multi-year experience with the above architecture trajectories.
  • Additionally, you have great perseverance, see opportunities, and have high organizational sensitivity.
  • You also have experience in introducing new applications in existing organizations.
  • Experience working in Agile SCRUM teams; knowledge of the Agile SAFe framework is a plus.

We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 5660 - 8085 EUR and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
