As Value stream Manager Products, leading the change will be a vital part of your role.

As VSM Products within COO AM, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer value and innovation through integrated product development. You are responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams that develop and manage products and services delivering direct value to internal and external clients. Your role is central in translating strategic business goals into functional IT solutions.

You will oversee the full product lifecycle—from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement—ensuring alignment with business stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives based on customer value and strategic relevance, and fostering collaboration across business, IT, and other key functions. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, compliance, and innovation, you will guide your teams in delivering modular, agile, and high-impact solutions that support APG’s long-term ambitions.

 

What you would do

  • Translate strategic business goals into a compelling product vision and roadmap, aligned with APG’s long-term strategy.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, compliance, and strategic relevance.
  • Lead multidisciplinary product teams with clarity and purpose, ensuring progress, quality, and budget control.
  • Foster a culture of empowerment by giving teams the trust, space, and direction to take ownership and deliver results.
  • Facilitate strong collaboration between business, IT, and other stakeholders, acting as a connector across domains.
  • Monitor product and process performance, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure end-to-end ownership of products, from ideation to delivery and optimization.
  • Inspire teams by translating APG’s vision into meaningful goals, and by showing how their work contributes to a sustainable future.
  • Develop talent within your teams, recognizing individual strengths and creating opportunities for growth.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments with empathy and strategic awareness, ensuring alignment and shared success.
  • Lead change with resilience and openness, encouraging adaptability and a growth mindset across the organization.

 

What you bring

  • At least 8 years of relevant leadership experience in product development, IT, or related domains.
  • Proven experience in agile product development and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and build lasting relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving change, fostering innovation, and empowering teams to take ownership.
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives based on customer value, compliance, and strategic relevance.
  • Experience in end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation to delivery and optimization.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to connect people and ideas across domains.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a growth mindset, both personally and within your teams.
  • Talent for developing others, recognizing individual strengths, and creating opportunities for growth.

What we offer you

We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 9240 - 13199 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
