The role
The APG AM organization can be classified as data driven. In accordance with the AM digitalization strategy, the QA Officer is responsible for the global design, implementation and testing of automated IT and data controls in a data-driven business environment. These controls are relevant for both business and IT, which are working together in product driven value streams.
All relevant data and IT controls must be ready to meet current or any new law or regulation in the future. Controls and control evidence must be demonstrable and fully transparent.
Besides controls, the Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for guarding business and IT risks and audit findings and support mitigation actions and structural improvements to permanently solve these risks and audit findings. You will be a spokesperson to external auditors.
On top of that, the senior Quality Assurance Officer has a responsibility in designing, monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators. The senior QA Officer is an important partner of the COO IT management to keep overall IT performance on the required levels and strive for continuous improvement.
This role is positioned on a Senior level and you will need to perform on strategic/tactical level in the Asset Management organization.
What you would do
- Make relevant IT and Data process compliant to applicable law and regulations (e.g. DORA).
- Support the design of an integrated control framework and automate this in workflows as part of data-driven business and IT processes.
- Adapt existing processes into end-to-end services, including relevant risk and controls from business to IT, based on business-critical functions in product driven valuestreams.
- Implement new, data and IT related, controls and monitor timely control testing.
- Create and implement plan for digitalization of all relevant Quality Management & Reporting domains: risk & audit, control, quality management, performance reporting and service level management.
- Guarantee that internal and external IT supplier processes are demonstrably in control and collect all necessary evidence to prove it.
- Align with internal and external IT suppliers to formalize service level requirements according to agreed quality standards.
- Provide strategic view and input as the challenging partner for the team responsible in designing the future and growth of the department.
What you bring
- Master degree in economics, Information Management, Business Management or IT.
- International Recognized Assurance Certification (e.g. RE, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or CISM).
- Profound knowledge of IT and automation of data, risks, processes, policies and workflow management.
- Specialized knowledge on assurance and compliance with laws and regulations (e.g. DORA)
- Profound knowledge on Service Level Management, based on ITIL V4 (minimum of ITIL Foundation).
- Experience with collecting and presenting evidence in GRC tooling.
- Development and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills, fluent Dutch and English verbal and written.
- Experience with SAFe Agile Methodology is an advantage.
Team
You are member of the Quality Management & Reporting team within the Department Resilience & Partnership Governance. The team has a global mandate. Within the team everyone works closely together and has his/her own specialist tasks to perform. You work in an Agile environment, using SAFe principles and methodology. You are in daily contact with internal APG (AM) stakeholders, e.g. management, (epic) owners, enterprise architects and AM or APG DevOps teams. You are also in close alignment with external IT suppliers and regulators.
What we offer you
We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 6153 - 8790 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
