The role
People Managers within Asset Management oversee highly specialized, multi-disciplinary teams operating within a complex, international application landscape. In this role, you will prioritize the personal- and professional development of your team members, while also managing the assignment and reassignment of internal employees to various teams.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the process of hiring external talent, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to meet the demands of the dynamic environment.
A key focus of your role will be actively engaging in and leading the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) process. This involves ensuring the flexible and effective deployment of both internal and external employees, addressing both qualitative and quantitative workforce needs.
You will work closely with the Value Stream Manager, the Product Owners, Release Train Engineers and of course the other People Managers. This is a responsible, vision-driven role that offers a high degree of autonomy and provides ample opportunity for personal input and initiative.

- Develop and maintain both short- and long-term Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP).
- Manage the recruitment and selection of both internal- and external employees.
- Collaborate with the Value Stream Manager and colleague People Managers to shape and drive the vision of the Tech / Data Office.

As a People Manager, you excel in motivating and developing employees to optimize productivity and promote personal growth. You play an active role in the transformation towards Agile working methods, coaching individuals and supporting teams in taking ownership and embracing self-organization. You are empathetic, an attentive listener, and capable of understanding the needs of diverse stakeholders. With experience in guiding organizations through change in a corporate setting, you are skilled at providing effective support to employees.
In short, you demonstrate the leadership qualities described in the APG leadership profile (see Leiderschapsraamwerk): you are connecting, self-aware, lead change, provide clarity, drive results, are customer-oriented, and foster talent development.
Also, you have:
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Organization Development or a comparable qualification.
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Experience in- or affinity with Financial Services / Asset Management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in Dutch and English.
- Preferably experience with the implementation of Strategic Workforce Planning.
- Preferably a (technical) background in IT Change / OPS.
What we offer you
We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 5931 - 9837 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
