You will be part of our TIBCO Data Virtualization DevOps team, which is based at our office in Heerlen, and which consists of +/- 14 DevOps Engineers with a variety of expertise.
The team is responsible for implementing all changes, maintenance and support for our systems and views. The team is therefore self-organized and works according to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) ® Agile and DevOps methodology.
We integrate data from a fast number of internal and external data sources and therefore play a crucial role in the investment decisions for millions of people. Hence, data quality plays a vital role in our development process.
Our data is used throughout the asset management organization, quality is therefore crucial during the development phase. That is why our team needs you, as developer and team player, innovator to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
APG’s data landscape is a complex system which holds an enormous amount of data. Our purpose is to make it more smooth, simple, and ready for business usage. This is where you come in. We are currently in an interesting phase where we are at the beginning of our Cloud transition. Next to that the current service to our business stakeholders also needs to be supported and further developed. So, you will both contribute to building and exhilarating the new system as well as help keeping our current one up and running.
One of your main responsibilities will be the development of business views: data that can be used by the business to provide them the insights and information they need, with best performance. You have the opportunity and freedom to innovate, automate processes, e.g., for CI/CD and Test automation. Next to the technical challenges to achieve this, a key factor in your work is communication with the operational business stakeholders to keep them informed and analyse and implement their needs.
