Project Manager CFRO | Asset Management

The role
You, together with the CFRO AM Business Management team, will drive the change within the domain of the APG AM Chief Financial & Risk Officer. You are the linking pin among CFRO teams but also AM-wide including our foreign offices. The team has recently been expanding with new responsibilities and activities. You can play a crucial role in increasing the change capacity of the entire department incl. CFRO teams by leading strategic and regulatory projects thereby also enabling project management expertise with delivery focus among teams. To provide some examples, the projects range from implementation of regulation, IT implementation, ongoing enhancement in the responsible investing space to structural improvements in frameworks and initiatives in the finance space.
What you would do
- Project lead (content-heavy) for strategic, tactical, or regulatory projects (typically also with board room attention). Be part of all project phases incl. initiating, planning, steering and implementation
Manage and drive diverse project portfolio and ensure delivery. - Coaching of more junior colleagues, for instance regarding PMO activities as well as colleagues in other CFRO teams on project management skills.
- You will support our Management Team by initiating the right discussions and ensuring well-prepared documentation for the Monthly Change Meeting.
- Further implementing the change approach within CFRO AM and alignment thereof with AM-wide approach to ensure efficiency, consistency and standardization.
What you bring
- You have an academic degree (Master) in economics, finance or a related field. A post-academic study is a strong plus, e.g., CFA.
- You have (minimum) 5 years’ experience in the financial industry, ideally in asset management / strategy consulting, and / or in the area of risk management (financial/non-financial). You are comfortable with Project and change management, ideally in a matrix organization with international context.
- You are a team player who enjoys working in close collaboration with other colleagues across teams as well as stakeholders.
- You have a self-assured personality and can manage a complex stakeholder field in a dynamic environment.
- You have an analytical mindset, a hands-on mentality and a structured approach to organizing project tasks and deliveries. You can coach more junior colleagues but also colleagues in other teams reg. project management.
- You have excellent communication skills and are able to digest and deliver management-oriented information in a clear and comprehensive manner.
- Full professional proficiency in English. Dutch language skills are a pre.
What we offer you
We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 5716 - 9482 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
