This is going to be your job

As a (Junior) Market Data Management Analyst you facilitate the information provision process for the whole of APG Asset Management. You will be responsible for managing data suppliers, enforcing and overseeing quality standards. Based on your knowledge and skills of investment and data, you will be validating and enriching the data according to the standards agreed with the consumers of the information products. You facilitate and/or participate in the dialogue to achieve higher data quality. This may also involve providing guidance on translating business requirements into IT solutions. This is done both in daily operations and on a larger scale as part of a project organization. You have strong empathy with the customer's needs; you are exceptionally tenacious and service-oriented, but take a professional and constructive approach at all times.
You are a member of the Data Management department as well as the Quant Agile team which you support. Your role will focus on Equity but you will work closely with colleagues on other asset classes such as Fixed Income and Alternative Investments. You will also be involved in APG Group ESG topics. You will be responsible for performance dashboard reports to the Front Office to help them monitor their portfolios more effectively.

We are looking for a (junior) Market Data Management Analyst for our Amsterdam location. We work hybrid from home or from one of our offices.

We also ask for the following:

  • A subject-oriented academic education (e.g. Finance & Investments or Information Management).
  • More than two years of relevant work experience in the field.
  • DAMABOK - FIA Certified.
  • CFA - CAIA certified is a plus.
  • Knowledge of (analysis) methods/techniques. Knowledge of, experience with, interest in: programming languages ​​like R, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge of, experience with, interest in: software such as MarkiT EDM, Alteryx, Click, etc.
  • Very good written and oral command of the English language.
