DevOps Engineer - Business Analysis with a focus on Data Management

This is going to be your job

The team Regulatory is responsible for the implementation of all regulatory and compliance driven topics from which “best execution” and “risk analyses” are the most important ones. These two topics are highly data driven and have, from a business perspective trade analytics and trading as the central business areas. Data is key and one of the main enablers of solutions for complex business processes. We aim for an end to end approach in which the entire process is analyzed and the business is provided with an integral solution.
As an analyst you will get involved in all phases in which your responsibility will shift with every phase. Your focus will be on the analysis, in close alignment with the front office. Furthermore designing and defining the ICT solution in which added business value is continuously assessed. You will work together with your (ICT) colleagues in an agile way of working.
You are motivated to process the requested business changes in the smartest way, but also want to be a sparring partner for the team, product owner and other departments in terms of architecture and longer term vision. You have good problem solving skills and are able to guide and coach more junior business analysts.
You are an enthusiastic T-shaped team player that will mainly do analysis, will make end to end designs, and understands the technology. You like working in a dynamic and changing environment and you are eager to bring in new ideas.

Your work will be based in Amsterdam or Heerlen, but you are willing to travel to the other office when required.

The Agile Analyst role we are looking for is solution-oriented and always sees opportunities. You take ownership and responsibility by nature and you have a pragmatic attitude. We would like you to be result oriented without losing sight of quality.

  • You have a degree (preferably master) in Finance, or other relevant area;
  • You have at least five years of relevant working experience;
  • You have strong content knowledge and experience with the investment chain and data management;
  • You show a clear interest in financial markets;
  • You have strong convincing power and are able to coach and guide business analysts;
  • You have highly developed communication skills and can easily communicate in English (verbal and in writing), Dutch is a pré.
Also important:
  • You are able to and have experience in quickly solving complex problems, learn new frameworks and implementations;
  • You are willing to keep up with new developments and have a good understanding of ICT;
  • You have a broad and relevant work experience within an Agile environment, you know the SAFe® framework.
