This is going to be your job

As a Self Service & Data Science agile team we design, build and maintain a suite of self-service and data science tooling that enable our business to make decision making models, dashboards and to automate their work. We also support the business to create robust and well performing applications.

Self Service & Data Science is a fast growing area and is one of APG’s main strategic growth pillars for the years to come. Because this field is constantly changing creativity, collaboration, an engineering mentality and fast learning are essential qualities.

What you will do
As a business and BI system analyst within the Self Service & Data Science team you will work in tight cooperation with senior business users, Product owners, architects and developers and system experts, where you will help analyze and deliver business value to all Asset Management domains.

You are motivated to process the requested business changes in the smartest way, but also want to be a sparring partner for the team, product owner and other departments in terms of architecture and longer term vision. You have good problem solving skills.

You are an enthusiastic T-shaped team player that will mainly do analysis, but will also make designs, understand the technology and test new functionalities. You like working in a dynamic and changing environment and you are eager to bring in new ideas.

Currently your work is based from home, but you are willing to travel to the Amsterdam or Heerlen office when required.

The Agile Analyst role we are looking for is solution-oriented and always sees opportunities. You take ownership and responsibility by nature and you have a pragmatic attitude. We would like you to be result-oriented without losing sight of quality.

Requirements:

  • You have a degree (preferably master) in Finance, Computer Science, or any other relevant area;
  • You have at least five years of working experience in programming and data processing;
  • You have experience with QlikSense, Alteryx and/or RStudio;
  • You are able to and have experience in quickly solving complex problems, learn new frameworks and implementations;
  • You have a solid understanding of developments on data science and have a good understanding of IT infrastructures and different types of cloud-services;
  • You have experience in working with asset management data and are familiar with asset management processes;
  • You have strong convincing power;
  • You have highly developed communication skills and can easily communicate in English and Dutch (both verbal and in writing).
  • You have a broad and relevant work experience within an Agile environment, you know the SAFe® framework.
