This is going to be your job

Are you the experienced Business Process Management professional who has the ambition to elevate the process mindset within an organization? This position within APG Asset Management (AM) might be the opportunity for you to realize it.

As Business Process Manager:

  • you are responsible for the setup, maintenance and improvement of the business processes for the whole AM organization and with a global scope;
  • you will be one of the leads in facilitating the Process Owners and in developing the future state of Process Management within AM;
  • you will be part of the strategic project Digitalization 2020-2025.
The Enterprise Architect (EA)-Team (9 fte) is organized as a staff department supporting the Chief Operations Officer and supports the entire AM organization.

EA monitors that changes within AM are devised and implemented in a consistent and coherent way. To this end, EA provides guidelines, advice, guidance and quality inspections on all kinds of changes, especially in the fields of processes, applications and data. In order to carry out our work, EA has created a model in which information regarding process, applications, data and technology has been brought together and can be consulted.

At the moment, almost only EA uses this model. And we need you to change that! Because we would much rather see that not only EA but also the rest of the organization uses this model. Looking at our future customers, we’re looking at our primary business but also our agile development teams. They are responsible for the development and maintenance of all our applications within AM.

This is what you offer

We are looking for someone who is passionated about Process Management and has the ambition to gain more knowledge and experience to leverage AM in developing their future process management needs. We ask for:

  • A bachelor degree with preferably academic level of thinking;
  • 5 or more years of relevant working experience;
  • Knowledge of and experience with
    • industry modelling standards like Archimate or BPMN;
    • process tooling like BizzDesign or Visio;
    • operational Risk Management;
  • Background in the Financial Industry, preferably within an AM environment;
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
Your work location will be Amsterdam or Heerlen, depending where you live. Willingness to travel between two locations if necessary.
